5 | 6 | 7 | 8 12p Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger - Brant
Join us for lunch on Wednesday, April 8th at 12:00 as we welcome Brad Raffensperger, Georgia’s 29th Secretary of State, for a presentation on the Secretary of State Office's responsibilities, which are broad. Before his statewide role, Raffensperger served on the Johns Creek City Council and in the Georgia House of Representatives. He also brings private-sector leadership experience as a Professional Engineer, General Contractor, and founder of construction and structural engineering firms operating across the Southeast. First elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2022, Secretary Raffensperger has implemented a statewide voting system with auditable paper ballots, expanded accountability measures for counties, and strengthened voter roll maintenance. His office also oversaw one of the largest voting system implementations in U.S. history. Members can expect a discussion relating to operational execution, election integrity, and his perspective on the responsibilities of public leadership. | 9 | 10 | 11 2026 District Learning AssemblyRegister |

Each session is held immediately before the Club's service project (Sack Pack) at Cobb Co. Fire Station 5's Community Room (4336 Paces Ferry Road, Atlanta, GA 30339). Use the parking lot next to the station house that is in front of "Another Broken Egg" and walk through the front door of the station house. These sessions are intended to provide new members with tangible information about VCR, how to get plugged in, and the various opportunities afforded to Rotarians. Attendees are encouraged to bring their mobile phone, table, or laptop to also get a tour of our online presence, links, and members-only items.
