New VCR members are requested to attend both sessions of the Red Badge (Orientation). Each session is held immediately before the Club's service project (Sack Pack) at Cobb Co. Fire Station 5's Community Room (4336 Paces Ferry Road, Atlanta, GA 30339). Use the parking lot next to the station house that is in front of "Another Broken Egg" and walk through the front door of the station house. A light dinner is provided (think sammies, salad, pizza fare), so please confirm your attendance with the President Elect (who will likely be talking with you about the session) for dinner and dietary needs.

Session One is typically on even numbered months and Session Two is typically on odd numbered months. These sessions are intended to provide new members with tangible information about VCR, how to get plugged in, and the various opportunities afforded to Rotarians. Attendees are encouraged to bring their mobile phone, table, or laptop to also get a tour of our online presence, links, and members-only items.

Use the parking lot next to the station house that is in front of "Another Broken Egg" and walk through the front door of the station house.  We will assemble lunch sacks (chips, sandwiches, etc.) that are distributed the next day by The Table on Delk for children in the immediate vicinity of Delk Road and Interstate 75. 

The Table on Delk is committed to serving individuals at risk of sex-trafficking. Part of that mission includes addressing critical needs of mostly women and their young families to decrease that risk, desperation, and food insecurity.

No regular meeting for VCR on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

On Thursday, June 25, 2026, Vinings Cumberland Rotary will celebrate a wonderful year of Service Above Self and install its Board of Directors for the 2026-27 year. 

The dinner will be held at Maggiano’s (Cumberland Mall).  VCR Members who would like to bring a guest will need to make that reservation in advance (limited, but plentiful, spaces available), details to follow.
